About
Praesidium Construction Group is a residential renovation contractor serving the Fraser Valley. When you hire us, you work with the two people who own the company.
Co-owner, sales and estimating
Maleky is your first point of contact. Maleky visits your home for the on-site estimate, prepares your detailed proposal and walks you through it, so you know exactly what's being built before any work starts.
“They hand delivered my quote and took the time to walk me through every single detail.”Andrea Peragine, Google review
Co-owner, operations and project management
Denis runs the work on site: the crew, the trades, the schedule and the quality of every detail. If you want to know how your project is going, Denis can tell you.
“If you are looking for a skilled carpenter who brings both integrity and talent to the job site, look no further.”Chris Ackerman, Google review
Our name
The word is Latin for protection, defence and support. That's how we see our job. A home is one of the biggest investments a person makes, and the people who work on it are responsible for protecting it.
We started Praesidium to set a higher standard than many homeowners are used to: clear communication, consistent workmanship and a process you can follow from the first call to the last walkthrough.
Strong Foundations, Stronger Futures.

How we work
Every project follows the same path, whether it's a bathroom or a basement suite. You always know what happens next.
A conversation about what you want to change, how you use the space and when you'd like it done.
For interior renovations: work directly with our design team, in your home, to plan the space around your needs and wants. About our design service
We visit your home, measure, and look closely at the existing conditions. There's no charge for the estimate.
A written proposal covering scope and materials, walked through with you line by line.
We set your start date and plan the work around your household.
Denis runs the site. You get regular updates as the work moves along.
We walk the finished work with you and make sure every detail is right before we call it done.
Design service, for interior renovations
Work directly with our design team before anything is built. We come into your space, learn how you live in it, and design the room around your needs and wants, down to the finishes.
Estimates are always free. Design is a dedicated, paid service, offered separately from your renovation. Ask us about it and choose "Design Service" in the question form.
Service area
We work from Langley to Harrison. If you're close to one of these communities and not sure whether we cover you, call and ask.
Tell us about your project and our team will be in touch to set up a free on-site estimate. Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
